The 2009 Sacramento State Hornets football team represented Sacramento State University during the 2009 NCAA Division I FCS football season.
Sacramento State competed in the Big Sky Conference. The Hornets were led by third-year head coach Marshall Sperbeck and played home games at Hornet Stadium in Sacramento, California.
