The game featured the UCF Golden Knights, the East Division champions, and the Tulsa Golden Hurricane, the West Division champions. The game kicked off at 12:00pm EST and was televised by ESPN.

With the win, the Tulsa Golden Hurricane won the first-ever Conference USA championship game.
