The 1974–75 Iraqi National League was the 1st ever season of the competition since it replaced the League of the Institutes. Al-Tayaran (now known as Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya) won the title to become the second Iraqi club to win three consecutive league titles, the first being Al-Shorta.
