The Women's Doubles tennis competition was one of the events of the 1970 Wimbledon Championships which was played on outdoor grass courts at the AELTC in Wimbledon, London and held from 22 June to 4 July. Second-seeded Rosie Casals and Billie Jean King won in the final 6–2, 6–3 against the fourth-seeded team of Françoise Dürr and Virginia Wade.

The draw consisted of 48 teams of which four earned their spot via the qualifying event. Four teams were seeded.

The 1970 championships was the third edition of the tournament to offer prize money. Prize money for the women's doubles was unchanged from the previous year, with the winning team earning £600.
