The 1969 Long Beach State 49ers football team represented California State College, Long Beach during the 1969 University Division football season.

This was Cal State Long Beach's first year in the University Division and was the inaugural season for the Pacific Coast Athletic Association. The team was led by head coach Jim Stangeland, in his first year, and they played their home games at Veterans Stadium adjacent to the campus of Long Beach City College in Long Beach, California. They finished the season with a record of eight wins and three losses (8–3, 3–1 PCAA).
