The Women's Doubles tennis competition was one of the events of the 1968 Wimbledon Championships which was played on outdoor grass courts at the AELTC in Wimbledon, London and held from 24 June to 6 July. First-seeded and reigning champions Rosemary Casals and Billie Jean King won in the final 3–6, 6–4, 7–5 against the third-seeded team of Françoise Dürr and Ann Jones.

The 1968 championships was the first edition of the tournament to offer prize money. The winning team of the women's doubles' title earned £500.
