The 1962 Scotch Cup, the men's world curling championship, was held at the Falkirk Ice Rink in Falkirk and the Haymarket Ice Rink in Edinburgh, Scotland. The first half of the matches were held March 15 & 16 in Falkirk and the second half of matches were held March 19 & 20 in Edinburgh. If a playoff was necessary, it would have been held on March 21 in Edinburgh. It was the first world championship appearance for Sweden.
