1945 Generation

1945 Generation is one of periodization in Indonesian literature. This generation born since the Japan colonize Indonesia in 1942. This pattern arises as the reaction to the servile literature on the Japanese government in Indonesia and a few writers who are members of the Bunka Keimin Shidosho, which is also referred to as the lackey Japan. One of person who populared from this generation is Chairil Anwar.
