12th Street Oakland City Center

12th Street Oakland City Center is an underground Bay Area Rapid Transit station located at the intersection of 12th Street and Broadway at the Oakland City Center in Downtown Oakland north of the Oakland Wye. It used to be a northbound transfer station in the BART system, until that role was switched to 19th Street station on September 13, 2010. It is the busiest BART station in Oakland and the East Bay, with a monthly ridership of approximately 14,000 as of November 2016, and is the 5th busiest BART station overall.

Like the 19th Street station, the concourse mezzanine is on the first level downstairs, an island platform and two main tracks for Northbound trains (bound for Richmond and Pittsburg/Bay Point) are on the second level downstairs, and one side platform with one track for Southbound trains (bound for San Francisco, SFO, Millbrae, and Fremont) are on the third level downstairs.
