Álex Rins Navarro (born 8 December 1995) is a Spanish Grand Prix motorcycle racer, having made his début in the Moto3 World Championship, in the 2012 season.

Rins was the 2011 championship winner of the Spanish 125GP series.

Born in Barcelona, Rins began his career in MotoGP with the Estrella Galicia 0,0 team. In his second meeting, Rins took pole position for the Spanish Grand Prix. He took his first podium in France with third place. He scored no further podiums, but was very consistent throughout the remainder of the season, regularly finishing in the top ten. He finished fifth in the final standings and became the rookie of the year.

He continued racing for Estrella Galicia alongside Álex Márquez in 2013, which would prove to be his breakthrough year. Vinales , Salom and Rins dominated the whole season with Rins getting 6 wins,14 podiums and 8 poles and was in the running for the title all throughout the season, and finished second only to Maverick Viñales by a very small margin of 12 points.

He continued to race for Estrella Galicia in 2014. But the 2014 season saw a dip in Rins' performance with 2 wins, 8 podiums and 4 poles which was lesser than his previous year performance and ultimately he finished the season in third place in the riders' championship.

Rins moved to Moto2 for the 2015 with Paginas Amarillas HP 40 team riding a kalex machine and changed his number from 42 to 40. 2015 was a very good season for Rins. In a season dominated by Johann Zarco Rins got 2 wins and 10 podiums. Finishing second in the final standings and winning the rookie of the year.

Rins continues to race in Moto2 for the 2016 season and considered as one of the title contenders.

Rins moves up to MotoGP 1000cc class for the 2017 season with Team Suzuki Ecstar alongside his new teammate, Andrea Iannone, and changes his number back from 40 to 42.
