    Turbulence 2: Fear of Flying

imageTurbulence 2: Fear of Flying

Turbulence 2: Fear of Flying is a 1999 direct-to-video disaster crime thriller film. It is a sequel to the 1997 film Turbulence. The film was directed by David Mackay and starred Craig Sheffer, Jennifer Beals and Tom Berenger.

A group of people celebrate overcoming their fear of flying by taking a flight together. They board a TransContinental Airlines Boeing 747-200, TransCon Flight 110, circling around Seattle–Tacoma International Airport. While the aircraft is cruising, a Polish gunman hijacks the flight. He says that there is a chemical weapon filled with toxins in the cargo bay and shows the detonator. The Polish hijacker goes to the cockpit and explains the plot to the captain and demands that he land at Seattle or a nearby airport. The captain says he can't land at Seattle due to bad weather and asks the hijacker to wait until the weather improves or use the bomb now. After getting into a scuffle, a British passenger Elliot (Jeffrey Nordling) - claiming to be an MI6 agent - and an FBI officer tie the Pole down. An aerospace engineer, Martin Messerman (Craig Sheffer), notices that Elliot had placed the detonator in his pocket. When asked to hand it over, he kills the Pole and the FBI agent. Elliot says to the captain that he's in charge now. After knocking the captain unconscious, he takes control of the plane and the passengers hostage. Martin attempts to warn about the hijack from an airphone but Elliot turns them all off.

Martin, with the help of another passenger Jessica (Jennifer Beals), goes down to the cargo bay and notifies a fellow Seattle air traffic controller Robert Sikes (Tom Berenger) of the hijack via a VOR system which Elliot doesn't notice. He is notified that the aircraft will be shot down if it flies over a populated area and must drop the toxin over water within seven minutes. He is told that the toxin is in cargo box A45114 but only hears "A45..." before Elliot switches off the VOR. Martin opens the spoilers to slow the 747 to make it descend to 10,000 ft (3,000 m) to open the cargo door without getting sucked out by the decompression and to get a signal for his cellphone. After reaching his intended altitudes and acquiring a signal, he retracts the spoilers and opens the cargo door. He finds the toxin in cargo box A45114. Elliot comes down and tries to shoot at the duo but can't get a clear shot as the bins are preventing the door from opening completely, expending all of his ammunition in the process. The ground controllers order the aircraft shot down by a missile from the USS Bremerton. Elliot activates the detonator to blow up the toxin but Martin and Jessica manage to drop the toxin out the plane before it detonates over water. They notify Seattle that the toxin has been dropped and the missile from the Bremerton is redirected away from the 747-200 and self-destructed.

    Tremors 5: Bloodlines

Tremors 5: Bloodlines is a 2015 direct-to-video monster film directed by Don Michael Paul, produced by Ogden Gavanski. It is the fifth film in the Tremors series of monster films and was released on October 6, 2015. It is a sequel to Tremors: The Series, which was a sequel to Tremors 3: Back to Perfection. The film received mixed reaction from professional critics, but received more positive reviews from fans of the franchise.

Burt Gummer, now a star in his own survivalist series, and his new cameraman Travis Welker are approached by Erick Van Wyk, who asks them to deal with Ass-Blasters in South Africa. After Erick agrees to pay them for their services, Burt and Travis head to Africa to hunt down the creatures. During the trip, Burt befriends their pilot, Dan Bravers. Upon arrival, Burt's heavy weaponry is impounded due to South African gun laws. Johan Dreyer proudly displays his rhino-tranquilizer rifle but Burt explains that all Graboids are immune to tranquilizers, so he and Travis are instead equipped with a small collection of guns that Van Wyk has gathered. Burt takes the guns but protests that their calibre is far too small to hunt Graboids. They set up their quarters at an animal refuge, where Travis befriends a little girl named Amahle Montabu and meets her mother Nandi. Meanwhile, at a dig site, two paleontologists celebrate after finding the fossilized remains of a Graboid, but they are attacked and eaten. Investigating the scene, Burt sees the fossil and realizes that it is a different breed of Graboid.

That night, Travis attends a local tribal dance with Nandi. At the refuge, a worker named Thaba is attacked by an Ass-Blaster that carries him away. Burt orders the refuge to be evacuated and reprimands Travis for his absence. He then heads out with Erick and Dreyer to hunt the Ass-Blaster. They find it in a cave, but during the ensuing attack, Dreyer is killed. After Burt finds that the Ass-Blasters have been laying Graboid eggs, Erick reveals himself to be a poacher, planning to sell the eggs on the black market. He knocks Burt out, locks him in the metal cage, and leaves with the eggs. Travis arrives to rescue Burt the next day, but the truck's fuel line is broken by a rock, so they head back to the refuge on foot.

    Today You Die

imageToday You Die

Today You Die is a 2005 American action film directed and cinematographed by Don E. Fauntleroy, and produced by Steven Seagal, who also starred in the lead role. The film also co-stars Treach, Sarah Buxton, Mari Morrow, Nick Mancuso and Robert Miano. The film was released on direct-to-DVD in the United States on September 13, 2005.

Harlan Banks (Steven Seagal) is a Robin Hood kind of thief who has always picked his own jobs and tried to pull heists that would leave him room to help out others. The work keeps getting riskier, and at the urging of his girlfriend Jada (Mari Morrow), Banks has decided to pull one final job, going in with some men who are planning a $20 million robbery.

After the heist goes bad, Banks heads to Las Vegas, where Jada wants him to get a real job. On the way to town, Banks and Jada passed a children's hospital displaying a going out of business sign. Banks gets a job driving an armored car for a man, Max (Kevin Tighe). The job is not exactly legitimate, and Bruno (Robert Miano), Banks' partner for the job, shoots a security guard, resulting in a chase through the Vegas strip in the armored van.

However, Banks is stopped and sent to prison, where he befriends an inmate known as Ice Kool (Treach). With Ice's help, Banks escapes, determined to hunt Max down. Along the way, Banks meets a federal agent named Saunders (Nick Mancuso), and it turns out that Saunders, who is in league with Max, is the man behind the setup. So Banks sets out to take down both Saunders and Max with a job.

It is set and filmed at Sofia, Bulgaria and Las Vegas, Nevada in 56 days on October 4 and November 29, 2004.

The producers of Today You Die filed lawsuits against Seagal because of experiences during the filming. Producers at Nu Image and Kill Master Productions alleged that Seagal, while filming this and Mercenary for Justice, arrived at the set late, left early, and re-wrote scripts without their permission, among other things. However, Seagal disputed the suit, and he countersued against producers, claiming fraud and breach of contract. As of January 2006, it appears the legal issues had not been resolved.

    Stealth Fighter

Stealth aircraft are designed to avoid detection using a variety of technologies that reduce reflection/emission of radar, infrared, visible light, radio-frequency (RF) spectrum, and audio, collectively known as stealth technology. Development of stealth technology likely began in Germany during World War II, the prototyped Horten Ho 229 was designed for twin BMW 003 jet engines but finally powered by twin Junkers Jumo 004 jet engines being described as the first stealth aircraft. Well-known modern examples of stealth of U.S. aircraft include the United States' F-117 Nighthawk (1981–2008), the B-2 Spirit, the F-22 Raptor, and the F-35 Lightning II.

While no aircraft is totally invisible to radar, stealth aircraft make it more difficult for conventional radar to detect or track the aircraft effectively, increasing the odds of an aircraft successfully avoiding detection by enemy radar and/or avoiding being successfully targeted by radar guided weapons. Stealth is the combination of passive low observable (LO) features and active emitters such as Low Probability of Intercept Radars, radios and laser designators. These are usually combined with active measures such as carefully planning all mission maneuvers in order to minimize the aircraft's radar cross section, since common actions such as hard turns or opening bomb bay doors can more than double an otherwise stealthy aircraft's radar return. It is accomplished by using a complex design philosophy to reduce the ability of an opponent's sensors to detect, track, or attack the stealth aircraft. This philosophy also takes into account the heat, sound, and other emissions of the aircraft as these can also be used to locate it.
