Zwickern

Zwickern (also as Zwicker) is a German fishing card game for two to eight players. The rules vary slightly in their details depending on the region, but the basics are identical in each variation.

Originally, it was played with just a standard 52-card deck but now it is commonly played with 6 jokers. 58-card decks have been in production since at least the 1950s.

Points are awarded for the capture of certain cards or method of capture. The ♦7 and ♠7 are worth one point each, ace two points, each sweep 3 points, and the ♦10 ten points. The player with the most cards also gets 1 bonus point.
