Zena Skinner (born 1927) was a chef, writer, and cookery expert on television and radio.
Skinner served in the Women's Royal Naval Service during World War II.
After the Second World War she worked as a demonstrator at the Eastern Electricity Board showroom in Royston. Her first TV appearance was in 1959. She presented cookery programmes for the BBC and, later, Channel 4.
She appeared as a "castaway" on the BBC Radio programme Desert Island Discs on 3 March 1969.
She lives in Redbourn, near St Albans, in retirement. and in 1967 at a Vauxhall Sports Day in Luton, she gave 10 Bob to a young lad who later became a RAF Chef as his Jam Tarts were really nice.
