Zandile Gumede

Zandile Gumede is a South African ANC politician. She is the current executive mayor of eThekwini (Durban) in South Africa.

She entered mayoral office after the 2016 general elections held in August 2016. She strives to maintain a zero-tolerance on corrupt officials and is working to create a cleaner city.

Her deputy is Fawzia Peer.
