Zackary Thomas Steffen (born April 2, 1995) is an American soccer player who currently plays as a goalkeeper for Columbus Crew SC in Major League Soccer.
Steffen played two years of college soccer at the University of Maryland in 2012 and 2013. He left Maryland to join German side SC Freiburg in December 2014.
Steffen spent time with SC Freiburg II, later becoming Freiburg's third-choice goalkeeper.
Steffen returned to the United States when he signed with Major League Soccer side Columbus Crew on July 22, 2016. Steffen went on loan to United Soccer League's Pittsburgh Riverhounds in August 2016. He made his Riverhounds debut August 13, 2016 in a 2-1 victory over Bethlehem Steel FC, making six saves.
