Zachary Baharov (Bulgarian: Захари Бахаров; born 12 August 1980) is a Bulgarian actor, best known for his roles as Moth in Zift and Ivo Andonov in the BNT 1 series Undercover and Loboda in HBO series Game of Thrones.
He grew up in the old part of Ovcha Kupel. He can not say that with his brother Yavor they were mischievous children, but it happened to make some bad luck. In his neighborhood there was a kindergarten with a very high fence with a puff of heather. Having been in puberty with friends, they often smoked cigarettes by the garden and had the habit of lighting the puff. But once, when the puffs were dry, he took his cigarette close to one of them, and the whole fence lurched for seconds.
In his 18th-grade school year, in SOU ''William Gladstone'', the prospective actor earned his teachers the privilege of not attending the first few hours on the pretext that he was living far away.
Baharov studied acting at the National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts in Sofia. He is acting on stage with the Ivan Vazov National Theatre since 2003. Notable theatrical performances include King Lear (2006), Don Juan (2007), and The Cherry Orchard (2009).
Zachary Baharov is a winner of the award "Askeer" in 2006 for Best Supporting Actor in King Lear; "Icarus" in 2007 for Best Supporting Actor in Don Juan and "Askeer" in 2009 for Three Days of Rain by Richard Greenberg, Theatre 199.
His first major film role was in Zift directed by Javor Gardev. The film makes him a star and earned him a Best Actor Awards in Bulgarian Cinema Year Awards (2009) and the Award for Best Actor at the International Film Festival Chungmuro, Seoul (2009).
