Green and White
Ysgol Brynrefail is a bilingual secondary school for pupils aged 11–18, situated in Llanrug, Gwynedd, north Wales. There were 714 pupils on roll at the school in 2016. Its current headmaster is Mr Arwyn Williams.
According to the latest Estyn inspection report, 91% come from homes where Welsh is the main language, with 99% speaking it as a first language or to an equivalent standard.
Extra-curricular activities such as the annual Eisteddfod form an important aspect of school life. Around Christmas time, sixth form pupils have the opportunity to organise and host a party for children from a local special needs school.
