"You Bring Me Joy" is a song performed by American R&B singer-songwriter Mary J. Blige. It is the third single from her critically acclaimed second album, My Life. The song samples the 1977 smash hit, "It's Ecstasy When You Lay Down Next to Me" by Barry White, written by Ekundayo Paris and Nelson Pigford.
The song peaked at #29 on the Hot R&B Singles chart and at #57 on the Billboard Hot 100.
The music video (directed by Marcus Raboy) was shot at a big blue and red room from April 10–11, 1995 where Mary and other dancers do crazy dance moves.
