As of the census of 2000, there were 293 people, 116 households, and 88 families residing in the city. The population density was 206.4 people per square mile (79.7/km²). There were 125 housing units at an average density of 88.1 per square mile (34.0/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 99.66% White and 0.34% Native American. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.34% of the population.
