Yeshayahu (Shaike) Gavish (Hebrew: ישעיהו גביש, August 25, 1925) was an Israel Defense Forces (IDF) general known for leading the Isareli forces at the Sinai front in the Six Day war.
During 1948 Arab–Israeli War, Gavish fought in the Palmach under Yigal Allon.
Between 1965-1969, he was commander of the Southern Israeli command. During his tenure, he led the Israeli offensive on the Egyptian forces in Sinai during the Six Day War.
