Wolverton is a village in Warwickshire, England. It is in Stratford-on-Avon District. The population taken at the 2011 census was 212. It was known as Wolverdington until the middle of the 19th century. There is a parish church dedicated to St Mary, the oldest part of which dates from the 13th century. It is accessible only by a path as it is set back from the road. Wolverton Primary School (in Wolverton Fields) dates from 1876. Wolverton was the birthplace on 18 March 1621 of the naval chaplain Henry Teonge, who kept interesting diaries of two Mediterranean voyages he made in 1675–76 and 1678–79.
