Wind's Poem is the name of the fourth full-length album by Mount Eerie. Several of the tracks are inspired by black metal, and showcases Phil Elvrum in his "relatively newfound affinity for Xasthur and other lynchpins of the unholy genre."
"Between Two Mysteries" features a reference to "Laura Palmer's Theme" by Angelo Badalamenti. Phil has cited Twin Peaks as being a long lasting influence on his music. One other such reference to the show comes in the form of the recurring 'foghorn' that appears on The Microphones album The Glow Pt. 2. A section of lyrics from the track "Stone's Ode" were taken from the Burzum song, "Dunkelheit".
