Wilmot (also Gilead) is an unincorporated census-designated place and residential and business community in the town of Salem in southwestern Kenosha County, Wisconsin, United States. As of the 2010 census, its population is 442. Wilmot has an area of 1.383 square miles (3.58 km2), all of it land.
Gander Mountain, a sports/outdoors superstore, was founded in Wilmot, and was named for nearby Gander Mountain in neighboring Illinois.
The Wilmot Union High School, Kenosha County Fair grounds, the Wilmot Raceway, and the Wilmot Mountain Ski Resort are located in Wilmot.
