William Conrad "Billy" Gloth (August 7, 1886 – December 3, 1944) was an American football player and coach. Gloth was a center on Virginia Cavaliers football teams of the University of Virginia, noted for his ability to beat the ends downfield on a punt. He was selected for the All-Southern team of "a well-known New York authority on sports" in 1907. He was the ninth head college football coach for the Virginia Military Institute Keydets located in Lexington, Virginia and he held that position for two seasons, from 1909 until 1910. His career coaching record at VMI was 7 wins, 6 losses, and 1 ties. This ranks him 18th at VMI in total wins and 12th at VMI in winning percentage.
