Wilhelm Meyn (3 June 1923 – 4 May 2002) was an officer in the Luftwaffe during World War II and a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross of Nazi Germany. During his career he flew 721 missions.
Meyn surrendered to the British troops in May 1945 and was released a few months later. In 1956 he joined the Bundeswehr and rose to the rank of general, retiring in 1979.
