Wickliffe is a small town in the Rural City of Ararat local government area in western Victoria, Australia. At the 2006 census, Wickliffe and surrounding area had a population of 299.
Wickliffe Post Office opened around January 1854 and closed in 1988.
In 1880 7 km from town Robert Francis Burns used an axe and severed Michael Quinlivan's head. He was later hanged in HM Prison Ararat in 1883.
The football team combined with nearby town Lake Bolac is known as the Magpies and plays in the Mininera & District Football League.
