Whitefield Theological Seminary is a conservative confessional classical Reformed seminary located in Lakeland, Florida, United States. Courses of study are offered on-site at the seminary's Lakeland offices but primarily through distance learning.
The seminary's application form states that it "is not accredited by any agency under the guidance of the United States Department of Education," and that transfer of credit is left to the discretion of the receiving institution. Its website states that "all degree programs are designed for use in conjunction with church-related ministries".
The school derives its name from 18th-century revivalist George Whitefield. The current president is Kenneth Gary Talbot.
