Western Pride Football Club is a soccer club based in Ipswich, Queensland. They participate in the NPL Queensland, which was established in 2012 to replace the Queensland State League. The club was founded in 2012 by a new entity called Football Ipswich to represent the Greater Ipswich Region and surrounding Western Corridor.

Ipswich mayor Paul Pisasale promised in August 2013 to build a 15,000 seat stadium at North Ipswich Oval if a licence for the A-League was secured. The club's local popularity could emulate the success to that of Sydney-based club Western Sydney Wanderers.Football Federation Australia has identified Ipswich as an expansion area.

Western Pride FC finished eighth in their inaugural season, with 27 points (8 wins and 3 draws) from 22 games.

Coach Kasey Wehrman resigned in July 2014 to return home to Norway after two seasons at Ipswich.

In October 2014, former A-League player Karl Dodd accepted the position of Head Coach of the Western Pride FC Senior Men's Team in the National Premier League (Qld). Former Matilda Karla Reuter signed on as Assistant Manager of the Men's team.

Dodd lead the team to an impressive start to the season, however in June 2015 was recruited by Brisbane Roar FC to take up a position as the High Performance Manager.

Dodd was replaced by former Whitsunday Miners FC coach Graham Harvey.
