Mesbah Uddin Ahmed (known by his stage name Wasim) is a former Bangladeshi film actor. He is considered one of the most popular action and folk fantasy hero.
Wasim started his career from the movie Chanda Hariye Gelo in 1972 and directed by S.M Shafi. It was a small character. In the year 1974 Wasim had get great opportunity for full hero role for the movie Rater Por Din and it was directed by another great director Mohsin. Movie became super hit and he was also became a superstar by overnight.
Wasim acted over 150 movies. Almost all movie was successful. The Rain Movie recognized him over the world. The film was shown more than 46 country. Most of time Wasim partnered with Olivia. He also worked with Shabana, Babita, Rajina, Anju and many more actresses.
Wasim has a one son and had a daughter, Bushra Ahmed. She was death for committed suicide from college roof when her aged 14.
