Walter Lawrence Reed (December 4, 1877 – May 1, 1956) was a Major General in the United States Army who served as Inspector General of the Army from December 1, 1935 to December 23, 1939.
His father was Army Medical Corps officer Major Walter Reed, namesake of the Walter Reed Army Medical Center.
Major General Reed died in the Walter Reed Army Medical Center and is buried in Arlington National Cemetery, Section 3 Plot 1863-B.
