Walk of My Life (stylized as WALK OF MY LIFE) is the twelfth studio album by singer-songwriter Kumi Koda. It was released on March 18, 2015, merely a year after her album Bon Voyage. The album debuted at #1 on Oricon, continuing Kumi's streak of chart-topping albums, which began with her 2005 album Best ~first things~.Walk of My Life stayed on the charts for fourteen consecutive weeks.
Walk of My Life is Koda Kumi's twelfth studio album and continued her streak of #1 albums on the Oricon charts. It was released in CD, CD+DVD, CD+Music Card [Ver. A], CD+Music Card [Ver. B] and CD+FC DVD. The fan club DVD contained her second "First Class Limited Live," the first of which was secret ~First Class Limited Live.
Walk of My Life became Koda Kumi's first album to have only two preluding singles: Hotel and Dance In The Rain. Fever: Legend Live was not considered a single and the three a-sides from the EP were omitted from the album.
On an interview for MTV Japan, Koda Kumi described the theme of the album as "not how a person thought, but how they live." The music video for Walk of My Life introduced a new technique called 4D view. Forty-eight different shots were combined with 3D animation for the dance in the sky, which was to show the story of how her strength had grown.
