The Waldorf Warriors Football team represents Waldorf University in college football. The Waldorf Warriors are part of NAIA Division II and competes in the North Star Athletic Association.

Waldorf's football team played their first NAIA Division II game in 2003. Their former coaches include David Bolstorff, Gregg Youngblood, Elzie Anderson (Associate head coach), and Kent Anderson.

Coach David Bolstorff was the former head football coach for the Waldorf Warriors. He remained the head coach for four seasons from 2003 until 2006. During his time at Waldorf College, he totalled 7 wins and 35 losses.

Greg Youngblood was the former head football coach for the Dordt Defenders located in Sioux Center, Iowa. In 2007, he was named the head football coach for the Waldorf Warriors and remained there until 2011. Youngblood brought with him sixteen years of coaching experience from the high school and collegiate levels. Before coming to Waldorf, Youngblood was an assistant coach at Taylor University in Upland, Indiana. Prior to coaching at Taylor, Youngblood was a head coach and assistant coach at three different high schools in New Mexico. During his time at Waldorf College, he totalled 9 wins and 45 losses giving him a winning percentage of 16.7%. Youngblood earned his master's degree in sports administration from the University of New Mexico. Greg, his wife Kelly, and their sons Zach and Cody reside in Forest City.

After the termination of Greg Youngblood, Elzie Anderson was named the associate head football coach for the Waldorf Warriors. Elzie came to Waldorf after spending his previous five years at Independence Community College in Independence, Kansas. While there, Anderson coached numerous All-Americans and developed one of the top-ranked defences in the Jayhawk Conference.
