Waldon is a former census-designated place (CDP) in Contra Costa County, California, United States. The population was 5,133 at the 2000 census. The Pittsburg/Bay Point – SFO Line line of the Bay Area Rapid Transit system serves the surrounding area using the Pleasant Hill/Contra Costa Centre Station with an adjacent to Interstate 680. The area has been undergoing a series of transit-oriented development projects under the auspices of the Contra Costa Centre Transit Village public/private partnership.

Waldon's territory has been assumed by Contra Costa Centre CDP for the 2010 census.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 0.7 square miles (1.8 km2), all of it land. All address in Waldon are actually served as Walnut Creek, by the USPS.

As of the census of 2000, there were 5,133 people, 3,086 households, and 1,018 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 7,755.9 people per square mile (3,002.8/km²). There were 3,263 housing units at an average density of 4,930.4 per square mile (1,908.9/km²). The racial makeup of the CDP was 75.43% White, 2.05% Black or African American, 0.33% Native American, 15.72% Asian, 0.25% Pacific Islander, 2.24% from other races, and 3.97% from two or more races. 6.18% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.
