WPCH-TV virtual channel 17 (UHF digital channel 20) is an independent television station located in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. The station is owned by Turner Broadcasting System, a subsidiary of Time Warner; the Meredith Corporation, which owns CBS affiliate WGCL-TV (Channel 46) which it operates WPCH-TV under a local marketing agreement. The two stations share studio facilities located on 14th Street in northwestern Atlanta; WPCH maintains transmitter facilities located in North Druid Hills.

Through its ownership, WPCH-TV is the only broadcast television station owned by Time Warner (this is despite the fact that the company is half-owner of THE CW, which carries its programming locally on WUPA (Channel 69), owned by fellow CW half-owner CBS Corporation). From December 17, 1976, to October 1, 2007, when its operations were separated from the co-owned TBS cable channel as likewise on Channel 17 is the pioneering superstation and that is carried on cable and satellite television providers throughout the United States and Canada; the station continues to be available throughout Canada on cable and satellite.

The station first signed on the air on September 1, 1967, as WJRJ-TV. It is the Atlanta, Georgia, US market's first independent station, and it is one of the first to sign on in the Southeastern United States. The station's call letters were named for its founder, Atlanta entrepreneur Jack Rice, Jr. The station's original studio and transmitter facility was located at 1018 West Peachtree Street Northwest, which had formerly served as the studios of CBS affiliate WAGA-TV (Channel 5, now a FOX owned-and-operated station).
