Vufflens-la-Ville is a municipality of the canton of Vaud in Switzerland, located in the district of Gros-de-Vaud.
Vufflens-la-Ville has an area, as of 2009[update], of 5.38 square kilometers (2.08 sq mi). Of this area, 3.31 km2 (1.28 sq mi) or 61.5% is used for agricultural purposes, while 1.24 km2 (0.48 sq mi) or 23.0% is forested. Of the rest of the land, 0.73 km2 (0.28 sq mi) or 13.6% is settled (buildings or roads), 0.05 km2 (12 acres) or 0.9% is either rivers or lakes and 0.05 km2 (12 acres) or 0.9% is unproductive land.
Of the built up area, industrial buildings made up 1.5% of the total area while housing and buildings made up 7.8% and transportation infrastructure made up 3.0%. Out of the forested land, 21.0% of the total land area is heavily forested and 2.0% is covered with orchards or small clusters of trees. Of the agricultural land, 50.2% is used for growing crops and 10.0% is pastures, while 1.3% is used for orchards or vine crops. Of the water in the municipality, 0.2% is in lakes and 0.7% is in rivers and streams.
The municipality was part of the Cossonay District until it was dissolved on 31 August 2006, and Vufflens-la-Ville became part of the new district of Gros-de-Vaud.

Vufflens-la-Ville has a population (as of December 2015[update]) of 1,216. As of 2008[update], 13.0% of the population are resident foreign nationals. Over the last 10 years (1999–2009 ) the population has changed at a rate of 10.2%. It has changed at a rate of 5.3% due to migration and at a rate of 4.5% due to births and deaths.
