Volcanic Sunlight is the fourth studio album by Saul Williams. It features a different approach than his previous albums, embracing a dance-pop direction, with various influences from funk, disco, '60s garage rock, new wave, and dubstep.
The song "Dance" includes a sample from the song "Disco '82" original soundtrack of the Bollywood film Khud-Daar (Hindi: खुद्दार), directed by Ravi Tandon. The song was composed by Rajesh Roshan, with lyrics by Majrooh Sultanpuri, and performed by Kishore Kumar.
All songs written and composed by Saul Williams, except "Girls Have More Fun", composed by Williams and CX KiDTRONiK.
