Vivek Sagar

Vivek Sagar is an Indian music composer. He debuted with the superhit movie, Pelli Choopulu; his work in the film was well received by audiences and critics alike, leading to him being one of the five nominees for the 2017 Filmfare Awards South's "Best Music Album" category.

He studied communications engineering before embarking on a career in music; he decided to start his career as a music composer with a short film, Sainma.

His first full-length film and his first Tollywood production was Pelli Choopulu. After completing the film, he decided to defy expectations to work on a large number of films, instead only working on a select few, so that he only takes on one at a given point in time. He has also stated that he believes music should be custom-written for the movie's story and that he will avoid "commercial music".
