Viva Radio (Viva) was an eclectic, Brooklyn, New York-based Internet radio station. Music programming was drawn from a roster of contributors known for their passion and depth of music knowledge. Each contributor had their own profile with extensive playlist archives, and shows were available after their original time of airing. Viva offered a picture, bio and contact information for its contributors.
The station ran 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Viva was the official in-store music and audio network for American Apparel stores and may have played live in over 160 of its retail locations worldwide. The website for Viva Radio is no longer available.
Viva is known for the depth of its programming, because each DJ was hand selected for the strength of their musical selections. Shows cover genres like dance music, indie rock, pop, rap and jazz.
The station was founded in June 2006. It has 60,000 unique listeners a month. Viva was created in order to give DJs, musicians, art and fashion personalities a place to showcase their favorite music.

VivaLive is a series where the station records and rebroadcasts live music performances. The station loosely edits the live material with interviews reflecting artist mood and experience. Each part of the series is one to two hours long and airs about two weeks after the recording date. Current recordings include performances by: !!!, Battles, Bonde Do Role, Black Dice, Glass Candy, The Fucking Champs, The Rapture and Simian Mobile Disco.
