Virginia's 29th Senate district, represented by Democrat Jeremy McPike, consists of Prince William County, Manassas City, and Manassas Park City.

Virginia's 29th Senate district election, 2015, held 3 November 2015, was a contest between Hal Parrish and Jeremy McPike for the seat that had been vacated by Charles J. Colgan. McPike received campaign donations from Everytown for Gun Safety, Planned Parenthood and Latinos Vote! Former Congressman Thomas M. Davis had said, "I give the edge to Parrish. Obama carried the district, but in off-year turnouts, minorities don’t show up."
