Vinnie Lauria (born Vincent Lauria) is an entrepreneur and venture capitalist.
Lauria is a General Partner at Golden Gate Ventures and a fellow of the Kauffman Fellows Program. Lauria began his career as part of the founding team of Meetro, a notable start-up that built a location-based services (LBS) social messenger built out of a garage in Palo Alto. It was launched in 2004 and has since been terminated. In 2007, he co-founded Lefora.com and served as VP of Product until the company's acquisition by CrowdGather, Inc.
Lauria was a contributing author to the book Web 2.0 Fundamentals: With AJAX, Development Tools, and Mobile Platforms. Lauria is a graduate of Boston University’s College of Engineering.
In late 2011, Vinnie Lauria, Paul Bragiel, of i/o Ventures, and Jeffrey Paine raised a $10 million seed venture fund to invest in early-stage technology companies in Southeast Asia.
