Vicki L. Ruiz
Vicki Lynn Ruiz (born May 21, 1955) is an American historian.
Ruiz was born on May 21, 1955, in Atlanta, Georgia, and grew up in Florida.
She completed her PhD in history from Stanford University in 1982.
She is currently a professor of history at the University of California, Irvine.
She is a member of the Organization of American Historians and the American Historical Association (AHA), and was President of the AHA in 2015.
