Vice Chief of Naval Staff (India)

The Vice Chief of the Naval Staff is second in command of the Indian Navy. He is responsible for operation of naval related tasks. The post is held by Vice admiral P Murugesan who took over as Vice Chief of the Naval Staff on 31 Mar 2015.
