Vail Bloom (born November 13, 1987) is an American actress and producer, best known for her role as Heather Stevens on The Young and the Restless, for which, she received a daytime Emmy nomination. She recently starred in the respected indie "Too Late," alongside John Hawkes and Robert Forster. Bloom will appear in another indie, "Riley's Peak," opposite Academy Award Winner Jon Voight, scheduled to release later this year.

Bloom was born in Boston, Massachusetts and grew up in Connecticut and Florida. The daughter of a high school guidance counselor and businessman/college professor, Bloom graduated from Princeton University with a Bachelor's Degree in architecture.

In 2003, she placed third in Maxim magazine's Hometown Hotties, though she has declined offers for similar shots with other magazines. She became interested in acting when a fellow student at Princeton where she went to school asked her to star in a short film.

Vail played the role of assistant district attorney for Genoa City Heather Stevens on the CBS soap opera The Young and the Restless from 2007 to 2010, a role that she received a Daytime Emmy nomination for in 2008. She and her team negotiated contractual "outs" to her character's recurring status during the summer of 2009, and left on her own in early 2010, and her role was recast. Vail remains friends with the cast and production. In March 2009, she appeared on the web series Angel of Death.
