VTV3 is a Vietnamese television station perated and owned by government-owned VTV Network. It launched in 31 March 1996 and has broadcast for 24 hours daily since 2006 as the country's first sports and entertainment channel.

VTV3 HD was first broadcast unofficially on 31 March 2013 and officially launched on 1 June 2013. Most of programs broadcast by VTV3 since 2013 are in HDTV with 16:9 picture format.
