The following season Some returned to the Wizards and helped the club to an undefeated season, but the club withdrew from the post season not allowing the Wizards to defend their title.

In 2005, he was signed by the Toronto Lynx of the USL First Division by his former Wizards head coach Hubert Busby, Jr., who signed him due to a shortage of players due to injuries and suspensions. He made his debut for the club in the home opener against the Montreal Impact. He scored his first goal for the club on May 31, 2005 in a match against the Rochester Rhinos in 5-3 defeat. He did not feature in any other matches for the Lynx throughout the rest of the season. In 2006, he signed with amateur side Ottawa St. Anthony Italia where he won the Ontario Cup, Canadian National Challenge Cup.
