University of Koudougou
The University of Koudougou is one of three public universities in Burkina Faso. It is located in the city of Koudougou. As of 2010/2011 it had the second highest enrollment of students nationally behind the University of Ouagadougou which had 83% of the national total enrollment. The university was founded in 2005 and in 2010/2011 had 5,400 students.
The university is divided into four faculties:
During the 2008-2009 academic year there was a student strike at the university.
