The UK semi-final was held on BBC Radio 2 on 26 January, hosted by Terry Wogan and Ken Bruce. The top 4 songs were chosen by televoting. Although the voting results are unknown, it is rumoured that Tony Moore won. The final was held at the BBC TV Studios in London on 11 March, hosted by Katy Hill, with the winner being chosen by televoting.
