Unicorn Store is an upcoming comedy film, directed by Brie Larson from a screenplay by Samantha McIntyre. It stars Larson, Samuel L. Jackson, Joan Cusack, Bradley Whitford, Karan Soni, Mamoudou Athie, Mary Holland and Hamish Linklater.
In August 2012, Rebel Wilson joined the cast of the film, with Miguel Arteta directing from a screenplay by Samantha McIntyre. Mike White and David Bernad would produce the film under their Rip Cord Production banner. In August 2016, it was announced Brie Larson would direct, produce, and star in the film. Ruben Fleischer and Bernad would produce the film through their company The District, while Paris Kasidokostas-Latsis and Terry Douglas would also produce and Jean-Luc De Fanti and Anne Woodward would serve as executive producers. In November 2016, Samuel L. Jackson, Joan Cusack, and Bradley Whitford joined the cast of the film. That same month, Karan Soni and Mamoudou Athie joined the cast of the film. On December 16, 2016, it was reported that Mary Holland had been cast in the film.
Principal photography began in November 2016, in Los Angeles, California and concluded on December 9, 2016.
