The SRC Arena seats up to 3,168 people, and is host to the UC Riverside Highlanders athletic teams. On October 3, 2014, the expanded SRC had a grand opening event which included popping a 1/2 mile of bubble wrap for a world record attempt, followed by a day of activities and prizes.

In addition to full locker rooms, 6,000 square feet (560 m2) weight training facility, and 3,000 square feet (280 m2) area dedicated to cardio-fitness machines, the Student Recreation Center has many different sporting courts for students to use.
