Tsuruoka Station (鶴岡駅 Tsuruoka-eki?) is a railway station on the Uetsu Main Line in Tsuruoka, Yamagata, Japan, operated by East Japan Railway Company (JR East).
Tsuruoka Station is served by the Uetsu Main Line, and is located 139.4 kilometers from the starting point of the line at Niitsu Station.
Tsuruoka Station has one side platform and one island platform connected to the station building by a footbridge. The station has a Midori no Madoguchi staffed ticket office and a "View Plaza" travel agency.
Tsuruoka Station opened on 21 September 1918. With the privatization of Japanese National Railways (JNR) on 1 April 1987, the station came under the control of JR East.
